The Burbank International Film Festival is proud to support diversity in television and motion pictures. To be socially conscious and raise awareness concerning issues such as gender, physical disability, sexual orientation and age discrimination. The Burbank International Film Festival is proud announce the advanced screening of the Documentary “Cinemability” to launch the Opening Night Festivities. “Cinemability” examines the ever-changing portrayals of disability story lines in film, TV and advertising and examines the media and its effect on transforming the societal inclusion of those with disabilities. The Opening Night Gala will begin with a VIP Reception, Celebrity/Media Red Carpet, screening and Q & A with the filmmakers and cast. The screening will be followed by a star-studded Opening Night Party hosted by UCB Spokesman RJ Mitte (“Breaking Bad”). RJ has lived with Cerebal Palsy since childhood.
