JEROME COURSHON’S MASTER CLASS
Film Producer & Distribution Expert Jerome Courshon knows the ‘game’of distribution as a Producer in the trenches. From his film festival journeys to self-releasing his first movie into theaters (God, Sex & Apple Pie) to securing distribution with Warner Bros. It’s this real world “what works, what doesn’t” approach that he is able to share with fellow filmmakers to help them attain success. Courshon has assisted hundreds of Producers & Directors with achieving real distribution through his classes, speaking engagements and private consultations.

Marriott Hotel Burbank - 2500 Hollywood Way Burbank, Ca 91505

The distribution process is not as difficult as people think when you really know how it all works, and how to make it work for you. Initially, Courshon was like most other veteran producers who have learned the insider-knowledge of successful distribution, “Don’t share it with anyone!” However, after the persistent urging and badgering by colleagues to share this closely-held knowledge with other Producers, Directors and Filmmakers, “THE SECRETS TO DISTRIBUTION: Get Your Movie Distributed Now!” was launched. Take advantage of this one-of-a-kind seminar and get your film the distribution it deserves. If you are unable to attend in person, you can purchase the complete 9 DVD set of this incredible and comprehensive course to view at home. Courshon has written primers and articles on distribution for MovieMaker Magazine, Indie Slate Magazine, Film Festival Today and many other film publications and is the Director of Film Distribution for The Burbank International Film Festival.

This year is going to be even scarier as The Burbank International Film Festival honors these horrific genres with a VIP Reception, Celebrity/Media Red Capet, a Centerpiece Film, several blocks of genre short films, and a killer AFTER PARTY. Last year the party was sponsored by TDJ Studios, a local production company whose 6,000 sq. ft. facility hosted a private celebrity cocktail party. The guests were then spirited away by limousine to the Burbank AMC Theaters for a star-studded screening and Q & A of the independent fan film, Star Trek: Of God’s & Men directed by Star Trek: Voyager star, Tim Russ. Following the screening, everyone transported back to the Studio for the galactic After Party where Tim’s Band rocked the house. Mascarade Liquer was the drink sponsor along with a full bar of interplanetary intoxications and full buffet to handle even the most ravenous of ghoulish appetites. Dessert sponsor Saloon Sweets delighted everyone with custom made cupcakes with alien, vampire and werewolf decorations. Even bigger surprise are planned this year, as we return to TDJ for a howling good time. Get your festival tickets early, this event will sell out!

Festival Director and President Jeff Rector roars with monsters at the killer after party Betsy Russell (SAW 3 - SAW 3D) Dee Wallace Stone (E.T. and The HOWLING) Who you gonna call? Mascarade Liquer was a huge hit on and off the Red Carpet ]]>
