Matrixx of Domination - 7:45pm

Creative, bold, sassy, sexy, fun, what you wanted to say and what you hoped you didn’t. Matrixx of Domination is unlike anything you have set your ears on, but once you listen, you will never want to hear the “same ole same ole” again. Not what you have heard. Not what you have seen and not what you think they should be. These sisters undoubtedly live up to the name, Matrixx of Domination.

LaZae - 8:30pm

LaZae is brutally honest. She’s a singer/songwriter who holds nothing back in her music. It’s all about telling a story, the whole story, honest and truthfully. That’s why she has no problem painting herself as the “bad guy” in her song “The Antagonist” or as delusional and tortured in her song “Girl, Interrupted” off of her debut EP due out in summer 2011 which will be followed up by a full length album due in 2012. With LaZae’s music, you get a full spectrum of topics from love to saving the planet. And in her debut EP, the listener gets just that.

The Well Pennies - 7:00pm

Raised in two different parts of the country and on different kinds of music, The Well Pennies combined their styles, talents and influences to form a duo in Boston in the winter of 2007. Over the next four years, the two moved to Los Angeles, got married and begin writing and recording their debut album with producer Michael Woodrum. With a sound that blends 60's folk, 70's pop and a little Americana, The Well Pennies strive for a vibe that is new and old at the same time.

Amy Arena - 7:45pm

Most of us wait to be rescued, but Amy Arena, through blood, sweat, tears, delivers an independent LP, Liquid Reality. The girl with the rebellious tongue ran away from label abuse and soothed herself in the subversive world of San Francisco techno clubs. Known for an undeniable presence, Arena found further expression on the Motor City stage after exploring the underground since her self-titled, debut album. Building her chops in the theater, Arena took her talents to Detroit and San Francisco and off-Broadway, singing with artists Ayro (Jeremy Ellis) and Daz-i-kue. Now, performing Goth to Hip Hop, Arena's wide-ranging experience is showcased in her latest release. .

Kirsten Proffit - 8:30pm

LUCKY GIRL is the debut release from singer/songwriter Kirsten Proffit, a powerful new creative talent in pop music. Aided by musicians Bruce Witkin (Vanessa Paradis), Michael Lockwood (Fiona Apple, Aimee Mann), Warren Huart (Star 69), Rick Neigher (Michelle Branch), Doug Nahory (Alanis Morissette), Jim Bacchi, Rob Klonel and Karen Teperberg, the collection is beautifully produced by Witkin along with Proffit.

The collaboration of DARKMATTER began in the winter of 2010 when lead singer/songwriter/pianist Kori Lynn and Cellist Nereida Andrade of Los Angeles met drummer Travis Pavur of New Orleans on his first visit to the city of Angels. In just a few months of preparation DARK MATTER, has magically caught the ears of local and urban music junkies from all walks of life. This classical/grunge/rock n' roll trio infuses alternative and distorted sounds with classical nuances that create an amazing eclectic feel for today's generation.

The Jade Element began as a studio collaboration between producer/composer Anthony Molinaro (Super Magnetic, Tori Roze and the Hot Mess), vocalist Rebecca Jade (Anthology House Band, Siren’s Crush, Super Magnetic), and lyricist Alfred Howard (The Heavy Guilt, K23 Orchestra). The three met regularly in Anthony’s Ocean Beach studio for nearly a year, carefully crafting a blend of RnB, Trip Hop, Neo Soul, and Latin Dub styles into a unique sonic cocktail. These sessions led to the creation of The Jade Element and their debut self-titled LP (released in July of 2011).

Outliar - 9:15pm

Outliar is a band of five friends from the San Fernando Valley in Southern California and was founded in 2009, marked by the release of their first six-song EP, and since then have made a full length CD titled "In The Open". The five members of Outliar all grew up within a few miles of each other and came together through a shared desire to make sense of the cultural mish-mash of the Valley through music. As a result, Outliar's sound is eclectic, bringing older themes from Motown, R&B, and Jazz into close contact with more modern rock, latin, and hip-hop styles.

Kevin Ridel - 7:00pm

A child of 80’s music, such as the Cure, the Psychedelic Furs and U2, Kevin has played in bands since age 14. In 1989 he moved from Connecticut to Los Angeles with his band Avant Garde (featuring Rivers Cuomo of Weezer) to pursue a career as a rock singer and songwriter. Over the past 15 years, he has created a name for himself in the Los Angeles’ music scene with his bands Ridel High (A&M Records), Peel (Beyond Music) and AM Radio (Elektra Records).

Bard - 7:45pm

Bard started in northern Michigan with Steven Crandall and Lucas Christenson who both decided to move to Los Angeles California to get their music out there. They packed up their things and hit the road. Half way through the long trip to California disaster struck. Driving down an interstate in NebraskUa their trailer caught fire and everything was lost. After the devastating fire they decided to press on in their journey and continue forward. Spending the next year rebuilding what they had lost writing new songs and getting ready for the next step. They met Jacob Craner who impressed them with his stunning key work and it seemed that everything had been fate.

Scott James - 8:30pm

You turn the volume up, and immediately your head bobs to a thumping bass line as a guitar riff soars and an edgy voice belts out soulful lyrics. This sounds like the workings of any dozen contemporary artists, right? So what, you may ask, is so special about Scott James? First off, he’s not just nailing the vocals, he’s composing the music, writing the lyrics, and jamming the guitar solos, too. And more amazing than that, he’s only fifteen

Carlie DeBoer - 9:15pm

With comparisons to Tori Amos, Bruce Hornsby, and Adele, Carlie’s songs are heavily influenced by classical leitmotifs and theory, combined with contemporary structure and chord progressions. Her lyrical content is inspired by the writings of great novelists like Ayn Rand, Carl Sagan, and Milan Kundera, and her own experiences.
